In the historic centre of Maisons-Laffitte, right next to the banks of the Seine, this new Franco Suisse residence is located in a neighborhood where all services are within walking distance.
With its classic architecture, its limited height of 3 floors, it fits harmoniously into the Rue du Mesnil, one of the oldest street in the city.
The freestone main facade brings tradition and elegance to the residence and the wooden shutters give it an authentic charm. The two square turrets that symmetrically frame the residence recall the two “pepperbox turrets” of the original building, and give it the appearance of a manor.
The slate and zinc roofing open onto dormers with rounded pediments which, on both turrets, give way to bulls-eye windows.
The residence is located on a hillside of the Seine and fits closely the slope of the land. On the back (on the Seine side), the residence features a wide garden generously planted with trees, as the original layout, in a series of terraces accessible by elegant staircases.
This beautiful gradually sloping garden, composed of flowers, clumps and shrubs offers an exceptional living space.
The limited number of apartments guarantees optimal quietness. They are accessible via two entrance halls, one accessible from the street and one from an interior lane. In most of the apartments, the living rooms open onto a balcony or a terrace. On the ground floor, the terraces are extended by a private garden enclosed by hedges.
